So what will they look like in 2012. Probably not much different to 2011, but there is always excitement amongst Formula One fans when the new cars are revealed. Now that most teams have given a reveal date, or launch date as it can be called for their new cars, we have made a list here of the dates, places and if needed times. If it is to be revealed on a website then we will give you the link. A short article this one, but this is one of the first places to get all the dates together.
Red Bull Racing : Date - 6th Feb - Time - 1pm - Place - www.redbullracing.com
Vodafone McLaren Mercedes : Date - 1st Feb - Time - Unknown - Place - Unknown
Ferrari : Date - 3rd Feb - Time - 9am - Place - Silverstone
Mercedes AMG Petronas : Not Revealed
Lotus F1 Team : Date - 7th Feb - Time - 5pm CET - Place - www.lotusf1team.com
Sahara Force India : Date - 3rd Feb - Time - Non Given - Place - Silverstone
Sauber F1 Team : Not Revealed
Scuderia Toro Rosso : Not Revealed but will be at first test on 7th Feb in Jerez
Williams : Not Revealed
Caterham F1 Team : Date - 26th Jan - Time - When the postman arrives - Place - on cover of F1 Racing
Hispania Racing Team : No Revealed - Latest, they hope to make the 2nd test with new car!!!
Marussia F1 Team : Not Revealed
So there you have it, a list of when the cars will be unveiled, well at least most of them anyway. A couple of suspicions down the bottom of the order. The words I have read about the new HRT are not comforting to be honest. It has been commented as follows "HRT insist their car will be ready for the first race". Sounds very matter of fact and if we didn't know their history, we may believe them. Surely not again this year, we need small teams in the sport but it would just be embarrassing. I love the idea that I will see the Caterham car before other people as I have a subscription for F1 racing and it arrives days early. It'll probably arrive Monday or Tuesday. Something to get excited about. I may even put a scan of it on here if you're good Lads and Lady's and help promote my new site. Only kidding, i wouldn't want to be seen to be handing out work to people I don't know. I'll have a look if I am able to scan it as the paper on the magazine can be strange.
