2011 was a great season yet again in my view. We had some great races, the likes of Canada stick in the memory and will do for a long time. Some people say 2011 was boring because Sebastian Vettel won everything, well, he deserved it for controlling his lead so well and his outstanding qualifying laps. People might then say well he was in a superior car but so was Mark Webber.
Anyway as I believe it was a good season (yet again, in the last few years we've been blessed) I will continue to give my awards for the best of 2012, here they are:
Qualifying Driver of the Year:
Sebastian Vettel

Jenson Button

Mark Webber on Alonso at Spa
Drive of the Year:
Jenson Button in Canada. An outstanding performance, probably the best F1 race performance of all time.
Crew Performance of the Year:
McLaren getting Lewis ready to race in China and despite the petrol leak he still managed to win. He wouldn't have even started the race if it weren't for the crew.

Best Livery of the Year:
Renaults Black and Gold
Best Rookie of the Year:
Paul Di Resta
Pit Crew of the Year:
Mercedes GP
Most Improved Team From 2010 - 2011:
Team Lotus ( Now Caterham) they were so close to the midfield towards the end of the season. In 2010 they were fighting HRT and Virgin (now Marussia), but in 2011 they left the back 2 teams for dust.

Red Bull Racing
Team Manager of the Year:
Christian Horner

Special 2011 Award:
This goes to Eddie Jordan for his donation of his Indian GP shirt (it was called something else but I forget). It raised over £107,000 for children in need. Well done Eddie, a great achievement. Also a special well done to all the drivers and F1 stars who signed it.
