Autosport have today released a photo of Kimi Raikkonen testing for Lotus in Valencia.
This is the first time Kimi has tried F1 machinery since he moved over to Rallying in 2009. The car was a two year old Renault R30 but was painted in the black and gold livery of last season. Kimi took to the track at 0830 CET to begin a two day test allowing him to get used to F1 again prior to the first official tests in a couple of weeks.
Outside official tests, teams can only use machinery which is two years old and is only allowed to run on test rubber. This is to stop any team getting an unfair advantage.
