I recently interviewed one of the top drivers in Formula One. The full interview will be the cover story in the first edition of 'My Formula One' magazine, due out later this month. This is due to the success of the season preview magazine which to date has over 14,000 downloads. Thank you guys. Guess what the new magazine will be free too. Keep watching here for details.
We are a Formula One magazine, so let's move forward to your F1 career.
You joined Renault in 2004, then for 3 seasons you were one of their test drivers. Then in 2007, Fernando Alonso moved to McLaren (no one has forgotten that move). You were then promoted into a race seat. Your start at Renault seemed to be filled with bad luck. Did you ever feel, that despite your obvious talent, your Formula One career would be short lived?
Not at all. Luck comes and goes and in the long-term it's irrelevant. What makes the difference is hard work, dedication and taking your opportunities when they come. I'm a Grand Prix winner, and when you count up how many people have competed in F1 over the years, not that many drivers can say that, so it is working out pretty well.
More to come in the magazine...
